Attract Customers with New Long Life POP Movement
Two new battery-operated point of purchase units that have been added to the British Turntable display movement portfolio extend the offering to more than 40 off-the-shelf small rotary, rocker and pendulum models.
The new units offer an incredibly long life: operating off a single AA battery, they will run for 6 months, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, making them some of the most attractive, enduring and effective point of purchase products on the market.
With a diameter of 83mm and a rotary speed of 1rpm, each unit has a capacity of 150g, evenly distributed, which is ideal for lightweight items such as jewellery, collectables, perfumes, small gifts and other small items. The TS800S is 46mm high and is finished in silver, while the TS901B is taller at 68mm high and is finished in black. Both are available with a mirror finish option to the rotating surface. Used on their own or in clusters to create height and dept to the display they will enhance any display window, case, shelf or counter.
One of the main attractions of using movement in display is that sales can increase significantly: by more than 30%, according to research conducted by POPAI (Point of Purchase Advertising International). Movement adds prominence to a brand or promotion, developing a visual stimulus to purchase; high value items will therefore sell more quickly, as will previously slow-moving products or 'ends-of'lines', keeping profits up and enabling a quick turn-round of stock.
And with British Turntable's two new POP units costing individually less than £14 (excluding VAT and delivery) and generous discounts being offered for quantity orders, it has never been easier to optimise sales space while creating stylish, eye-catching displays.
