Chocaholic Turn for British Turntable

Helen's Chocolates of Cumbria are turning their sales of hand-made chocolates around with help from two Princess PR3 turntables supplied by British Turntable.

The units are installed in the windows of their shops at Bowness on Windermere and Keswick, where the movement persuades potential customers to stop and take a look. Fitted with mirror shelves instead of the more conventional glass, the 3-tier Princess brings an appealing and professional feel to the confectionery display in aesthetically pleasing surroundings.

Shop owner, Paul Frain, explains: "We needed to create a display and an environment that would stop passers-by in their tracks. The turntable does just that: the movement immediately attracts the eye and entices customers to take a closer look at what we have to offer. The turntables also create a professional feel to the display that adds value to all our confectionery, and we can easily change the display to suit the season or special occasion."

The three mirror shelves, at 500mm, 400mm and 300mm diameter, also provide a large display area for the goodies while taking up very little space in the front windows of the shops. Princess turntables in 3-, 4- and 5-shelf options are offered as standard shelf from British Turntable's comprehensive range of display turntables, which now numbers more than 100 units. A ceiling-mounted Princess is also available, allowing an attractive, eye-catching display to be created without taking up valuable floor space.

British Turntable supplies everything needed to create the right display medium, including shelves, poles, collars and fixing nuts. Further information can be obtained from Phil Childs, tel: +44 (0)1204 525626, fax +44 (0)1204 382407, e-mail info@turntable.co.uk
