Dine in Style with British Turntable
British Turntable has helped create a striking entrance for upmarket restaurant, Nutters, by supplying a ceiling-mounted turntable unit to revolve a stunning chandelier.
Style and sophistication are trademarks of Nutters, which serves diners with gourmet food and fine wines at its beautiful manor house location in Lancashire. On moving to this prestigious building in April 2004, owner Rod Nutter decided to make the dining experience even more lavish by creating an exciting centrepiece in the entrance hall - a revolving crystal chandelier.
“Diners love it,” he says. “It’s such a simple concept, but it immediately attracts their attention, and while having a pre-dinner drink they can’t take their eyes off it. It’s a key talking point, and an excellent advertisement for us as they tell all their friends!”
Nutters’ revolving chandelier is a shining example of how movement can be integrated into traditional surroundings to highlight a particular architectural or design feature without detracting from the original character of the building.
As well as creating exciting interiors, ceiling-mounted revolves are particularly effective in the retail heritage display industries, where they can be used to develop dynamic displays and presentations without using up valuable floor space. Museums and retail outlets all over the world have called upon British Turntable to supply the mechanisms, which can be bought outright or simply hired in for a short-term exhibition or display.
