Movetech UK skates with Vauxhall
December 2009
When second biggest car seller in the UK, Vauxhall, was looking to showcase their cars to an 18-24 year old audience, an important element was to feature the cars as an integral part of the set rather than in an exhibition-type setting. Looking for parallels with 'driving excitement' and connotations of four wheels, they hit upon a skating theme, converting a Tigra into a giant rotating mirror ball with the help of a car revolve from Movetech UK.
Movetech UK draws attention to Henry VIII Parade Armet

A Movetech UK display turntable has been chosen by the Royal Armouries to draw attention to a parade armet worn by Henry VIII. One of the most important features in the ‘Henry VIII: Dressed to Kill’ exhibition at the Tower of London, the horned helmet was a gift from Maximilian I to Henry VIII in 1524 and is all that remains of what was probably the finest armour ever seen in England.

A carousel turntable from Movetech UK was at the centre of the Skillsmart Retail awards at the recent In Store Show, (Olympia, London) when Devon womenswear retailers, mARmaLaDe took the SkillVM silver award in the professional category for their innovative window display, ‘Window to your World’. Demonstrating the impact of the media on the evolution of fashion in the 20th century, the display featured a revolving mannequin dressed in red and covered in newsprint for maximum impact.

Movetech UK adds prominence to world’s first tank
