Sporting Turn For British Turntable

World-famous sports gear manufacturers, Umbro International Ltd, had their profile raised recently thanks to innovative exhibition stand design by Face Edge of Bideford, Devon and a turntable supplied by British Turntable Co Ltd.

With a brief from Umbro to create an eye-catching display to launch a new football shirt at the SPO Fair in Munich, Face Edge designed a circular display unit using 600mm diameter acrylic tubes and a revolve from British Turntable. With the bottom section backlit, the body form and shirt were uplit and rotating within the centre section, achieving all-round visibility at eye level in a striking and attractive display.

Tim Craze of Face Edge says, "With the 'Natural winner' graphic behind the shirt, the display created appropriate branding for the product, and the overall scheme was well-received by our clients, Umbro, and visitors to the stand."

Movement supplied by from British Turntable has become extremely popular across the world because of its versatility and effectiveness in attracting attention and adding value. For exhibitions, museums and heritage centres, the movement adds excitement to displays, drawing visitors to the moving exhibit, and in the retail environment, it has been shown to increase sales by more than 30% (according to research carried out by POPAI). British Turntable now offers more than 100 standard display movement products suitable for self-installation. This breadth of products allows an imaginative mix of units to be incorporated into interactive displays and more complex integrated systems, at relatively little cost, to create stunning effects that will stimulate and increase visitor and customer interest.
