Sunny Outlook for British Turntable
A 6m diameter revolving stage supplied by British Turntable is building a high profile for the new Nissan Sunny at Dubai dealers, Arabian Automobiles.
The revolve, which was recommended and imported by British Turntable's agents in the area, Metel Trading LLC, has allowed the dealership to add a focal point to their smart showroom and increase footfall to the new model. And to add some extra style to the display, British Turntable supplied a static surround step that complements the turntable perfectly, creating a polished classy look in keeping with the showroom's décor.
Shashank Rao, manager of sales and marketing at Metel, says that Arabian Automobiles are delighted with the impact the revolving stage has on their showroom activity. So delighted are they, in fact, that they have also ordered a Merlin Major 21 automotive revolve from British
Turntable to allow them to take new models out into shopping centres, cinema complexes and other public areas where they can actively promote their vehicles.
The revolve used in the showroom was chosen from British Turntable's standard range of revolving stages, which are available from 2m upwards in diameter. The 6m diameter version supplied to Arabian Automobiles is capable of carrying an evenly distributed load of 3000kg and was fitted with variable speed control in both directions.
As well as offering revolving stages for automotive displays, British Turntable offers the Olympian 4.5 full platform revolve and the Merlin Major 21. With its decorative deck and kerb surround, the Olympian 4.5 has carved a distinct niche for itself in showrooms and exhibitions across the world because it combines elegance with ease of installation. This attractive, low profile (120mm), completely stable revolve does not require a pit to be dug into the showroom floor and is extremely portable. It can therefore be moved around the display or launch area to change focus and mood for special displays and launches.
The Merlin Major 21 is virtually invisible in operation, allowing cars to be rotated as if by magic. Robust, compact, versatile and extremely cost-effective, it is totally portable, and can be used outdoors (on the forecourt, for example) operating from the car's own 12 volt battery. This portability makes it the ideal companion for special displays, shows, and car launches - wherever the public gathers.
All standard revolves are available for sale or for short term hire, and further information is available by contacting Phil Childs on tel: +44 (0)1204 525626, fax +44 (0)1204 382407, e-mail info@turntable.co.uk
